Together, they’re building a future where heritage poultry has a place in every barn, backyard, and on every table.
Our Mission
At LuxPoultry, we are committed to preserving, promoting, and producing standard-bred heritage poultry. Our goal is simple: to protect rare bloodlines, educate the next generation, and put real heritage chickens back on the table, where they belong.
What is heritage?
A heritage animal is one that’s been bred naturally, generation after generation, to meet a time tested standard. These breeds are more than old, they are proven. They maintain maternal instincts, thrive without industrial crutches, and possess the productivity and resilience that once made them essential to homesteads across the country.
In poultry, a heritage bird is standard-bred. That means it’s been selected and bred not just for appearance, but for structure, vigor, temperament, and longevity. It hatches from an egg, grows at a natural pace, if selected right, they can reproduce offspring that rightfully carry the breed forward.
How can I help?
This mission is bigger than just birds. It’s about preserving living history, real bloodlines, real genetics, and a standard that built American agriculture. But we can’t do it alone.
